The 91¾«Ń” Student Veterans of America hosted a toy drive and collected over
$1,000 in toys to donate to CHOC Childrenās Hospital.
āItās amazing to see our college community come together to brighten up childrenās
spirits,ā said Jose Castaneda, US Marine and NC Student Veterans of America President.
āItās these types of gestures that make our world a better place.ā
The 91¾«Ń” Student Veterans of America raise funds for different initiatives
throughout the year. In October, they hosted a Chili Cook-off and raised money for
an organization that provides resources to prevent veteran suicide.
